No matter if you’re eight or eighty-eight, I welcome anyone who’s ready to do some joyful fluting!! I teach flute to people of all ages and skill levels, up to diploma standard. I’m a big fan of getting students involved in concerts—it’s a great way to learn and helps with exam nerves too. My main aim is to help everyone achieve their best, so I mix encouragement and support with just enough structure, making sure lessons match each student’s style and needs.

Whether you’re into classical pieces, want to build up your technique, or feel like trying out new tunes or play duets, I shape lessons around which music you enjoy. I try to keep things relaxed and welcoming so students feel good about trying new things and building confidence, whether playing solo or in a group. By blending some straightforward learning with creative fun, I hope to help students not only get better at playing, but also really enjoy making music.
