More About Me
My Qualifications: BA(Hons) MMus MA
I teach modern, baroque and keyed classical flutes, and music theory (up to Grade 5 ABRSM).
My teaching experience includes 15 years of private tuition and work for schools projects. I was also modern and baroque flute teacher for the University of East Anglia from 2007-11. I’m currently flute teacher at Graveney School in Tooting.
I prepare students for graded exams, university, A-Level and GCSE exams, scholarship auditions, concerts and competitions. I also teach several students, especially adult learners, who just want to learn for their own enjoyment.
I studied baroque and classical flutes at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with distinction and winning the Nancy Nuttall Early Music Prize. I now have a busy freelance career performing with orchestras such as The Hanover Band and Armonico Consort.
