Hugues Roberts

I am a teacher and freelance flute player currently based in South Manchester. My professional playing experience includes work with the Royal Opera House, Hallé, and BBC Philharmonic, and my teaching experience encompasses tutoring students across a wide range of ages and levels, including beginners and adult learners. I also have experience putting students through exams with highly successful results.

I try to be flexible in my approach to teaching, and tailor my lessons to the specific needs of each individual student. My focus is on making learning the flute an enjoyable experience, and I aim to help students set learning goals that are achievable and fun, whether it be learning one new note in a lesson or learning repertoire in preparation for an exam.
