Helen

I have over 15 years teaching experience, ranging all levels and ages from beginner - university/conservatoire level. As well as my private teaching, I currently teach at Chetham’s School of Music and Liverpool Hope University and run Liverpool Flute Academy - a residential flute course every summer which I teach on alongside my RLPO colleagues. I have also been a flute teacher at the University of Liverpool, University of Manchester, a Senior Lecturer (flute) at Leeds College of Music and Pop Flute Teacher at the Royal Northern College of Music.

I am currently Principal 2nd Flute in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. I have also freelanced with many of the UK orchestras for work including BBC Proms performances, CD, TV and Radio recordings and international tours. I have also worked on various West End and touring shows, in chamber ensembles and as a soloist.
