Hi there! My name is Daniel, I graduated from the Royal Academy of Music and University of Oxford with First Class Degrees and an LRAM teaching Diploma (Distinction), studying with Samuel Coles amongst many fabulous teachers.

I work mainly as an orchestral player, with groups such as the Philharmonia, London Symphony Orchestra, and BBC Symphony, and won many awards such as the Royal Overseas League Wind Competition 1st Prize.

I have over 10 years of teaching experience, and all of my pupils taking exams have received Distinction or Merit. I have coached and adjudicated for the National Youth Orchestra and BFS Competition, and given classes at several universities.

Having taught pupils of all ages and standards, I am always willing to be flexible in terms of goals. I like to emphasise flute fundamentals alongside tailored direction based on a student's musical preferences.

I have training in working with SEN children through Live Music Now, and can travel or teach online.
