Claire Holdich

As a passionate teacher and performer,I aims to help others on their own musical journey whilst continuing to find new and innovative ways to deliver music to a wide audience. I graduated from the University of Hull with a first class degree in Music in 2004 where she I also awarded the Departmental Prize for outstanding musical achievement.I have been teaching singing, flute and music theory privately and in schools for over 12 years and I currently teach at Wyke Sixth Form College Hull, Hull University and for the Yorkshire Young Musicians project which offers advanced training for talented musicians across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

I teach classical and contemporary styles, with my personal specialisim being in rock flute and extended techniques including beatboxing.
