One half of Ace Duo and flute teacher at Taunton School in Somerset, Chris is a professional freelance musician, performing and teaching across the South West. Chris has also worked as a Graduate Musician in Residence at Millfield School and performed regularly at local music festivals. He is a graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where he studied flute and piccolo under renowned flute players including: Diane Clarke and Andrew Lane.

Chris has performed in orchestral concerts with the New English Concert Orchestra and has appeared as guest soloist with the Walsall Symphony Orchestra performing Reinecke's Concerto in D major. He also recorded his debut album Luci d'inverno whilst at the conservatoire.

A versatile and experienced teacher, Chris emphasises relaxed, tailored individual tutoring with an encouraging teaching style, that not only allows pupils to feel at ease, but fosters an excellent work ethic without forcing pupils to overwork themselves.
