Barbara Young

I am a graduate of The Royal Academy of Music, a qualified teacher (Institute of Education) and a performer. I have 30 years teaching experience and have worked for the boroughs of Redbridge, Enfield, Hounslow (Head of Woodwind) and Harrow. I am the director of The Young Academy music school which is based in my home. Lessons are fun and enjoyable with an emphasis on the well-being of the student.

I have also conducted innovative research into the effect of music on babies and initiated projects in Ealing and Finland which involved radio and television broadcasts.
