I love teaching the flute :-) There is nothing like being part of a student's musical journey, seeing them mature and blossom musically as they progress.

I have 30+ years experience as a flute teacher and also have a PGCE. I teach from age 6+ to adult.

My flute and piccolo teaching takes me into schools as well as keeping me busy at home.

I perform regularly with local orchestras and ensembles.

My students can work towards exams (ABRSM or Trinity) or just play for fun :-)

During lockdown I transferred my teaching online - a very interesting and successful venture! Now I do a mixture of face to face and online teaching.
