I studied the flute under the expert guidance of Doris Da Costa (Royal College of music). I’ve been teaching and playing around Brighton and the south coast for 20 years. I teach using both ABRSM and Trinity exam syllabus and include Trinity Jazz exams, regularly entering students for exams. I still play regularly as a freelance flautist as a soloist, and as principal flute in a jazz ensemble called Trees. I also work as a specialist lead practitioner teaching Musical theatre for companies including Chichester Festival Theatre and have a lot of pit experience. Current shows I’m working on include: The Addams family, Carosuel and Shrek. Previous shows include: Evita, Little Shop of Horrors, Grease, The Wedding Singer, Bugsy Malone, Annie etc. I am DBS checked and am insured through the Musicians Union.
