Ann Hubble

I am a very experienced performer and teacher of violin, viola and piano, and have been running my own private teaching practice in South Croydon since 2000. I teach children aged 7 upwards and adults, beginners to advanced. As a performer I have played with leading orchestras and ensembles including the Philharmonia, Royal Philharmonic and English National Ballet, and run my own ensemble, the Beaufort String Quartet. I also worked as a full time violinist with the Reichenhaller Philharmonie, Germany, for 12 years. I studied violin with Nona Liddell and piano with Hamish Milne at the Royal Academy of Music. As a pianist I have performed at the Basil Street Hotel and accompanied ballet classes at the MacAlpine School of Dance.
