Profile last updated: 1 Feb 2023

I am a first-class honours graduate from the University of Birmingham, where I majored in flute performance studying with Diane Clark and Jonathan Rimmer of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, as well as under Demarre McGill and Heather Verbeck at CCM during a year abroad. At UoB, I attained one of the highest final recital grades, and performed as principal flute with several of the university ensembles and chamber groups. I have also performed with orchestras across the midlands.

Piano-wise, I was awarded the Irene Martin Prize for Pianoforte in 2015, and was a Yorkshire Regional Finalist in the 2013 Aireborough Rotary Young Musician Competition, as well as accompanying several musicians and choirs.

I have several years experience in teaching, and am currently employed under Whitehouse Music Service, Alvechurch. My goal is for all students to enjoy playing, and reach their full potential through structured lessons and practice, strong fundamentals and posture, and great music.
