Alastair Penman

I have taught students from complete beginners to aspiring professionals and aged 6-82. I accompany my pupils, and teach ABRSM and Trinity, classical and jazz syllabi.

I am a Professor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and have taught classes at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, UCLA (USA) and Cal State Fullerton (USA). I have also taught students for University of Cambridge and University of Liverpool and have been a guest tutor for the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain. I regularly coach on courses at Benslow Music.

I currently teach saxophone and clarinet at the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe and for Hillingdon Music Service.

I run a YouTube channel of teaching resources (https://www.youtube.com/saxophoneresources) which has received over 3.5 million views.
