I have taught students from complete beginners to aspiring professionals and aged 6-82. I accompany my pupils, and teach ABRSM and Trinity, classical and jazz syllabi.

I am a Professor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and have taught classes at Royal Northern College of Music, Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, UCLA (USA) and Cal State Fullerton (USA). I have also taught students for University of Cambridge and University of Liverpool and have been a guest tutor for the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain. I regularly coach on courses at Benslow Music.

As well as teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Guildhall I also teach at Junior Guildhall and Bedford School.

I run a YouTube channel of teaching resources (https://www.youtube.com/saxophoneresources) which has received over 5 million views.
