Peterborough Flute Choir

We rehearse weekly from 7.30-9.30pm with a break halfway for drinks and biscuits. Monthly subscription is £10, pay per play is £5.

The last Thursday of the month is 'Challenge Week' when a theme is set – such as Baroque, extended technique, women composers.

We are conductorless in order to maximise the development of ensemble playing.

There are opportunities to try piccolo, alto and bass flutes, and the repertoire is varied to encompass all tastes and in order to amuse, encourage and enthuse all players.

We work towards performances in and around the local area throughout the year, and aim to hold flute workshop days annually to broaden members’ experiences, skills and enjoyment.
