National Flute Orchestra
The National Flute Orchestra was founded in 2008 by Margaret Lowe and Kenneth Bell. As an ambassador for increasing the awareness of larger size flutes the National Flute Orchestra promotes and develops repertoire for flute orchestra with many members possessing at least one larger flute. It plays a wide range of music, but still specialises in performing new, contemporary music for the genre. It showcases the full range of instruments within the flute family, giving the ensemble the same pitch range as a traditional symphony orchestra.
