The Shop
Since 1985 we have supplied thousands of players the world over, from beginning students to famous soloists, orchestral musicians and session players. Our 16th century premises in Croydon form the largest specialist flute centre in the United Kingdom, where we have a huge selection of flutes, piccolos, alto flutes, bass flutes, music books and flute recordings. Our famous flute and piccolo repair service is second to none.
Our massive stock levels make us Europe's largest supplier of flutes and flute music, and we always love to welcome customers to our music shop in Croydon to try instruments and browse through our huge selection of music and CDs.

Our Ethos
We pride ourselves on offering unbiased, friendly service. All members of the showroom team are musicians (it’s a pre-requisite for employment here) who appreciate the needs of the player. It doesn’t matter if you're a student or a world-class professional, all customers receive the same high level of service. Our staff members are committed to providing a level of service that they themselves would want to receive.
We don’t restrict ourselves to any particular supplier and always offer products that we consider to offer the best possible value. What appears on the face of it to be the “cheapest” is rarely so, and we are constantly driving home the message that cheap, inferior quality instruments will, long term, do more damage than good (read this article for more information on cheap instruments).
Manufacturers and importers regularly send us instruments to evaluate during their own research and development of their products, such is the value of our opinion. Our world-class repair workshop regularly undertakes inspection and evaluation of new instruments.
