From the composer: "This Brooklyn Folk Divertimento was mostly written in 2013 and edited in 2021/22, using a tango popular bass line but modified into folk/danza rhythm alongside my New York jazz influences in the harmony. Also, there are connotations of a hot Brooklyn summer night as contrast for balance."
