Buy second hand with confidence
Unless stated otherwise, all of our pre-owned, ex-demo and ex-display instruments are cleaned and checked, set up or serviced in our workshop prior to sale.
The Selmer Mark VI is a professional model saxophone that is considered the Selmer Company's best saxophone and is preferred by many jazz musicians. These have included Phil Woods, Paul Desmond, Bob Mintzer, Wayne Shorter, Stanley Turrentine, Michael Brecker, Bob Berg, Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon, Stan Getz, Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis, Branford Marsalis, Dick Oatts, Eric Marienthal, Peter King and numerous others.
In good overall condition, but in need of a service. This beautiful French-made Mk VI from 1971 has been unplayed for many years but is in playing order giving a great idea of its sound. The plating is in a good state, with a couple of patches of minor wear in the usual spots. This is a rare instrument in full silver-plate, and has been priced factoring in the cost of a service.
