'The tango has evolved over several decades from the simple traditional Argentinian Dance, to a high level of an art form, in large measure as a result of two well known composers of the tango: Astor Piazzola and Atilio Stampone. A Touch of Tango is a result of the 'freedom' released by these two composers.'

'Many "blues" pieces have been written since the turn of the century making it a popular style of music. So let us pay homage to Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald and the myriad of great artists who have made the Blues an icon of popular music. Bluer than Blue is designed to explore the characteristics of this genre.'

'Whereas the "Blues" evokes sounds of sadness and/or loneliness, The Happy Hoofer provides a contrasting feeling of well being and reflects a time when Hoofers (like the immortal Bill "Bojangles" Robinson) delighted audiences with their inimitable and individualistic styles. Today, we pay tribute to such young talents as Savion Glover and Gregory Hines who keep the treasure of 'Hoofing' alive.'
