Take-Off! is a flexible and engaging method for beginner wind players – ideal for classroom teaching, wind bands, brass bands, and ensembles of any size or instrument mix.

As a follow-up to the popular Take-Off! 1, this second volume can also be used on its own. The modern, catchy tunes are fun to play and written in a rhythmically unified style (homophony), helping students develop timing, articulation, phrasing, and a strong sound from the very beginning.

Each piece includes up to four parts, allowing musicians at different levels to play together. Instrument books include the melody and additional parts; books for lower brass and percussion contain complete part sets. Chord symbols are provided for flexible accompaniment by teachers or more advanced students.

Pit stops with musical games and exercises help strengthen note reading, rhythm skills, and aural training. A professionally recorded play-along CD with all melodies supports both ensemble rehearsals and individual practice. The recordings are also available on Spotify and other streaming platforms.
