I bought two of these stands, one in metallic blue and one in metallic red. They are sturdy but extremely light and very easy to adjust with clips instead of screws. I'm really pleased with them and the only minor snag is that they are not as small when folded into the carrying bag as the Yamaha stand which is a similar weight but three times the price.

5 out of 5 “Very Good Stand”

This stand is simple, very lightweight and a great stand to carry around. It is really only for indoor usage and also for lightweight music. I would not recommend for outside jobs or for holding a heavy music pad.

It is long whilst folded, please not as it does not fit in a normal carry bag, but has to be carried separately in its own case.

I like this stand because also the feet and height clamps ad very quick and easy to use.

Recommended as a great indoor stand.

very lightweight and easy to put up/take down. Bought for my daughters as they have to walk carrying stands and instruments but I am impressed and have been borrowing one to take to my own rehearsals, and have bought one for a friend. The shelf is deep and the quick lock mechanism works well. I also sent off for the previous model (cheaper, shorter, no swift clips) as I have a few music stands and thought it would do for orchestra rehearsals - this doesn't have the quick clips on the tubes and has to be taken apart into two pieces to fit in the bag, and was slightly heavier when I weighed them, so I am not keen on that one. I will be interested to see how long they last as I find that on most stands the threads go eventually (exception being 1970's all metal ones). Only slight problem so far is that I like magnetic pencil holders which do not work on aluminium. The colours of the red and blue ones are lovely. I would recommend this stand for carrying around, but personally will stick to heavier stands for teaching/practising at home/standing to play because I would worry about the stability.
