“Ideal ensemble music for beginners”

Chris Hankin Just Flutes staff member -
This is how to write ensemble music for beginners! There is almost total rhythmic unity between the parts so there is plenty of security for young players who are also fully supported by a playable piano accompaniment. This is called Latin 'n' Blues though, so there are jazzy rhythmic figures and harmonies which are very appealing. A complete winner which will be used time and time again.
Difficulty guide: 3-4
Difficulty level, roughly compared to ABRSM exam grades. 0 is beginner, 9 is advanced (beyond grade 8).
