I have extensive experience teaching in both one-to-one settings and with small groups, in schools and privately. I am also a skilled piano accompanist. I teach currently at several schools, including Nonsuch High School for Girls, and All Saints' Carshalton C of E Primary. I have been a Tutor at Sutton Music Service for the past two years, on both the flute and the piano.
I am also a freelance performing flautist and piccolo player. Recent highlights include recording and touring with the English National Ballet Philharmonic and Orchestra for the Earth, recording and performing with the Knussen Chamber Orchestra, and performing at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in Soho.
I graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with a First Class Honours degree, whilst also obtaining the Academy's teaching diploma: the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music (LRAM). I also hold Licentiate and Associate Diplomas on the flute from the Australian Music Examinations Board (LMus, AMus).
