James Marangone

Despite a predominantly classical teaching, James regularly delves into commercial Production Music and Electro Acoustic genres. As a result, his professional career has him dubbed as somewhat of a musical chameleon. Since leaving the Royal Northern College of Music, where majored in Solo Performance, James has sculpted a varied resumé both on the orchestral stage and in the studio.

Professional performances aside, James boasts an extensive list of orchestral contracting credits at world-class studios such as Abbey Road Studios and Air Lyndhurst, with music preparation on feature films such as The Hobbit and Skyfall. As a composer, his commissions include prime-time shows for BBC and SKY, a multi-channel ad campaign for EE, together with global credits for EMI Production Music with his music featuring on popular shows that include :-
