Helen Wilson

I have over a decade teaching experience, ranging all levels and ages from beginner - university/conservatoire level. As well as my private teaching, I currently teach at Chetham’s School of Music, Liverpool Hope University and the University of Liverpool. I have also been a flute teacher at the University of Manchester (2013-2020), a Senior Lecturer (flute) at Leeds College of Music (2018-2023) and Pop Flute Teacher at the Royal Northern College of Music (2021-2023).

I am currently Principal 2nd Flute in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. I have also freelanced with many of the UK orchestras for work including BBC Proms performances, CD, TV and Radio recordings and international tours. I have also worked on various West End and touring shows, in chamber ensembles and as a soloist.
