Fiona has a wide range of teaching experience, from primary school age children up to retired adults. Fiona currently teaches woodwind with The West of England Music and Arts (WEMA), Sea Mills Primary School and Stoke Bishop Primary School. She also offers private lessons on the flute in her house in Sea Mills, Bristol. Previous teaching engagements also include teaching the flute at Sidcot School.

Fiona is a friendly teacher who is flexible and aims to meet the needs of every individual pupil. She loves helping each pupil find ways of improving their playing, whatever their standard.

Fiona has a ABRSM Teaching Diploma and took a module in Advanced Teaching Skills whilst at the Royal Welsh College studying for her Masters. She also has a DBS certificate and is a member of the ISM.
