Profile last updated: 1 Dec 2021
I am an experienced flautist based in Yorkshire with strong interests and focus on musical performance and interpretation. Although I enjoy playing repertoire from all eras, my special interest is in 20th Century works and New Music.
I believe it is important to inspire learners of music, both performers and listeners, and my teaching approach reflects this belief. I am able to adapt my lessons to the student, and help them gain the information and education that is right for them. I believe exams are an important learning process for students, and I am prepared to guide students to achieve their best potential in ABRSM, Trinity, GCSE, and A Level.
