Christopher Green

An enthusiastic and experienced flute teacher, I strive to make my lessons engaging and motivating, whilst adhering to the pupil's individual needs.

I have much experience working across a variety of state and independent schools, including primary, secondary, sixth form colleges and junior conservatoires. I currently hold Visiting Flute Teacher positions at two independent schools. My experience ranges from teaching children as young as 3 years old to adults and standards ranging from beginners to putting pupils through Grade 8 and Diploma exams. I'm delighted with the 2024-25 exam results; 85% of pupils scoring 'Distinction', with the other 15% scoring 'Merit'.

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, I work as a professional freelance flautist, working with various BBC and opera orchestras.

I am DBS certified and fully insured with the Incorporated Society of Musicians.
