I trained at the Guildhall School of Music in London and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester with several world-class players including master-classes with James Galway. I have over thirty years' experience as a performer and teacher. I have experience teaching in schools as a class teacher and Head of Music as well working as an instrumental teacher and performer. I have worked for Liverpool Music Service and Flintshire Music Service. I love teaching and I am friendly, approachable and encouraging to children and adults of all ages. I have a 100% pass rate for ABRSM and Trinity College of Music examinations. In the most recent set of entries, all my pupils gained merits or distinctions.
