Many Local Education Authorities (LEAs) and schools offer what is known as an Assisted Instrument Purchase Scheme (AIPS). It enables parents of pupils at LEA schools to purchase an instrument through the school or LEA at the ex-VAT price shown on our website.
Current Rules for Qualifying for AIPS:
- The student must be in full-time education at a Local Education Authority (LEA) school.
- The student must be receiving tuition at the school by a local authority employed teacher.
- The instrument must be appropriate to the student's needs - a beginner flute player does not need a gold flute!
- The instrument must be portable.
In addition to our promotional price, you can also benefit from a further discount, resulting in big savings. For example:

- The parent pays the school or LEA the amount ex-VAT plus any administration fee that they may charge.
- The school/LEA places an order with us for the required instrument.
- We despatch the instrument to the school/LEA ready for collection by the pupil or you can collect the instrument from our showroom depending on the way the LEA administer their scheme
Please contact your school or LEA to see if you are eligible. We can deal directly with any authority.
