The flutes in this section are suitable for beginners of all ages, and will see most players through at least the early exam grades. Some of the makes are capable of taking a player though to grade 7-8 level.

Smaller players - usually up the the age of 9-10 - can often benefit from a curved headjoint. This reduces the stretch that small arms have to make!
