This is a welcome return for an old favourite although in truth it possibly sounds a little dated now. However the diagrams for the effects that we now take for granted are very clear and despite the fact that the text on the CD is taken exactly from the book, it's nice to hear a demonstration. There are some weakness, for example the singing and playing section has no instruction, but there are also some gems. Subtones shows how to extend the range of the flute down to C below middle C and Mute for the Flute involves partially covering the embouchure hole with sticky tape! It is all illustrated in a most bizarre manner and Sheridon Stoke's laid back delivery is strangely hypnotic. A classic!
