For many parents, the initial outlay of a really good quality instrument can persuade them away from buying one, usually because they are unsure whether their child will stick at it.
Low quality instruments - which are within easy financial reach - are usually a false economy (see our article here). Better quality instruments, on the other hand, are easier to play, more reliable, and have a better re-sale value. A good instrument can really encourage a beginner when they're starting out, while bad instruments are often harder to play and can be demoralising - not what your child needs.
Our scheme means that your child can try an instrument to see whether it's what they want to play, without having to commit to a purchase. All instruments on our rental scheme are made by major manufacturers who are known for their excellent quality and design.
We have partnered with Duet (MIFCO Leasing and Finance Ltd) to offer our customers a low cost way of purchasing a quality student instrument.
All instruments on the rental scheme are brand new and fully set up in our repair studio, to ensure that your child gets the best possible start. This scheme is open to anyone over 18 years-old, subject to status.
To get started, you make an initial payment plus a small insurance charge. The remaining 17 payments are collected by MIFCO Leasing and Finance Ltd each month by direct debit. After 18 months the instrument becomes yours and there are no further payments to make.
If you wish to return the instrument at any point during the 18 month period you can do so at any time after the first three months. The instruments must be in good condition (normal wear and tear accepted). Your payments to MIFCO will cease once we have agreed to take the instrument back†.
† We are not legally obliged to accept an instrument back under this scheme. You must maintain the instrument and ensure it is kept in good condition throughout the duration of the agreement.
You also need to bring your bank details (bank name & address, sort code and account number). Your bank account will need to allow payments by direct debit.
We regret that we are unable to arrange agreements on a mail-order basis.
Terms & Conditions apply. A credit check will be carried out at the time of arranging the agreement. We reserve the right to refuse applications. The first monthly payment is required by debit or credit card with the remaining 17 payments by direct debit. MIFCO Leasing and Finance Ltd require that all instruments insured against loss or damage (accidental or otherwise) for the duration of this agreement. We will arrange suitable cover at the start of the agreement. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO RENEW THE INSURANCE POLICY AFTER THE FIRST YEAR. The 'Total payable' EXCLUDES insurance charges. All instruments are subject to availability. All prices include VAT at 20%. Prices are subject to change without notice or obligation. Errors and omissions excepted.
Written quotations are available on request. Finance is provided by Duet. The amount of the monthly payment is fixed.
All offers are subject to credit approval and acceptance by Duet. Duet is a trading style of Mifco Leasing and Finance Ltd, of 17 Marina Court. Castle Street, Hull HU1 1TL. Registered in England and Wales no. 6937963.
Because the Jupiter JFL313S is designed for particularly small players who will (hopefully!) grow, the scheme above is not appropriate. We are able to offer this flute on a rolling 3 month basis at £21.65 per month, including insurance. When you first rent the instrument we require a payment of £65.00. Standing order payments commence 3 months after you first take the instrument. There's a minimum hire period of 3 months. Payments are required by standing order. We do not accept any other form of payment than a standing order for monthly payments. Once the child is ready to move up to a full size flute, we'll give you a 10% discount on a Jupiter JFL515ES curved head flute outfit.
If you wish to rent a JFL313S flute please either come into our showroom or contact us for an application form by post. Once completed, return the completed form to us, with two copies of ID showing your address* - you can do this by fax or post. This scheme is available by mail order.
