Just Flutes Description
The Sankyo-Kingma flute marks two milestones in the history of the flute: the first of which is the licensing of the Kingma Quarter-Tone system to a Japanese manufacturer; the second is producing Kingma System flutes at an affordable price.
The Kingma System flute has six extra keys which, in combination with the C# trill key and open holes, allow you to play a quarter-tone scale over the range of the instrument.
As well as this, the additional keys allow you to play a large number of unique multiphonics - in chromatic progressions - and even some triple-stops. The final advantage is the ability to play special fingerings for difficult moments of intonation, across the flute's range.
We endeavour to keep this model in stock at all time, but as Sankyo have an extremely limited production of these flutes, please contact us for availability.
