Our Description A must for music students! The palm-sized Zoom H4 Handy Digital Recorder is ideal for recording concerts, masterclasses, practise sessions and lessons. It is bundled with a 512MB SD memory card, and when used with a standard 2GB SD memory card, provides up to 380 minutes of stereo recording in CD Quality mode or 2000 minutes in MP3 stereo mode. To move your recordings to your PC or Mac, the Zoom H4 includes a USB interface, and it is then easy to transfer to your MP3 player or burn to CD.
The Zoom H4 features two studio-quality electret condenser microphones, configured in an X/Y pattern for true stereo recording. It also includes two combination XLR 6.35mm input jacks with phantom power for use with an external microphone. A 3.5mm headphone jack is provided for you to monitor the recording. Onboard effects such as compression, limiting and microphone modelling.
The Zoom H4 records on to Secure Digital (SD) memory cards (the same type as used by most digital cameras, SatNav systems etc). A 512MB SD card is included with the unit. With a 2GB SD memory card (available from all good electronics retailers, from about £10.00 in price), the Zoom H4 provides up to 380 minutes of recording in 16-bit mode (CD Quality), or, in MP3 stereo mode, 34 hours.
The H4 ships bundled with Cubase LE Digital Audio MIDI Workstation sequencing software for easy editing, mixing and mastering of your recordings on either Windows or Mac.
