Manufacturer's Description
"The 1009E Flute D'Amour offers infinite opportunities for special performance situations that require transposition. During the 18th century, the Flute D'Amour was commonly played and since 1960 has enjoyed a renaissance. The finely crafted 1009E offers professional and solo attributes not often found on harmony flutes. Projection and air resistance is similar to a regular C flute but with a more contralto type of dark sound. Easier to play than an Alto flute, the Altus Flute D'Amour is designed with the seamed craftsmanship unique to Altus."
