Our Description
The ST5, used in conjunction with the Yamaha MC7 pickup microphone or Silent Brass pickup mute, provides wind players with a more effective way to practise with the ability to enhance and alter the sound of the instrument. Applying the ST5's various effects and tone-shaping capabilities to the pickup sound creates a wide range of possibilities that meets and exceeds the musical styles present today.

The ST5 provides a total of 32 different effect types, such as a 4-band equalizer for precise sound shaping, compressor, limiter, chorus, reverb, delay, pitch shifter etc. Other useful functions include a tuner, metronome and phrase trainer.

You may need additional cables to attach the ST5 to the line-in on your amplifier. The output on the ST5 is a 6.35mm jack, so we suggest either a 6.35mm to 6.35mm cable or, with the included plug adaptor, a 3.5mm stereo to 2 x phono cable (depending on the line-in on your amplifier).
