Now in its 18th year, Summer Music at Woldingham incorporating The International Flute Course and The International Saxophone Course has established itself as one of the leading summer schools in the UK. Come and be inspired by some of the finest wind players in the country: Clare Southworth, Ian Clarke, Rob Buckland, and Dave O'Higgins and other guest tutors...
We offer two different options to attend both course based on the player's ability.
The flute performance course is for players grade 3-8. The intensive course i is designed for players who are ideally post grade 8.
The saxophone intermediate course is for players grade 3-6. The advanced course is designed for players grade 7 and above.
We offer private lessons, master-classes, workshops, chamber music, audition preparation, posture, technique, evening concerts and much, much more...

An intensive and fun-packed course, with activities to motivate and inspire young flautists, clarinettists, saxophonists, oboists and recorder players. Our vastly experienced and specialist tutors will guide participants individually and in groups of similar ability. The course includes instrumental classes, chamber music, ensemble playing, aural, musical appreciation, concerts, games, sport and much more.

Hindhead Flute Course

This diverse course is packed with activities to stimulate and inspire developing flautists in a supportive and positive environment. Timetables are structured to meet requirements of varying abilities, and those preparing for exams/college/orchestral auditions will receive individual guidance and advice.
Classes and workshops with specialist guest tutors will explore various styles, to improve performance, posture, breathing tone-production, articulation and technique. Other activities include flute choirs, ensembles, piano accompaniment, musical awareness and aural classes, staff and student recitals, sports and games and end of course concert.
