Description
P Mauriat saxophones have been causing a stir on the internet (see the Sax On The Web forum for an idea of what people are saying) and we had to see what all the fuss was about! These saxophones play freely from top to bottom, and the System 76 model has a bright jazz sound in the vintage French tradition. This plays stunningly well, and is truly in a different class to other saxes at this price level. Combine with a Vandoren Java, Selmer S80 C* or for more punch, Yanagisawa metal mouthpiece, and any of the above with a BG ligature for a great sounding horn.
Manufacturer's Description
"The new System 76 Soprano is an amazing instrument. Free blowing yet focused, it has consistent response and intonation from the bottom to the top of its range. It truly has the sound characteristics of some of the great vintage horns, but with modern key work that makes it so much easier to play."
Model number: System 76
