“Christmas Rebourn”

A good book of chrstmas classics, well arranged and a good mid-ranged quality of paper.

I love the jazzy twist on these classic christmas songs. I also like the small writen passage at the front of the book, giving you a feel for the song aswell as the mood. I would rate this book as a grade 2/3. I find these pieces very enjoyable, and they have in essence aided me with the simplicity of playing the flute jazz stylee; I also find that the pieces are so versatile that you can really play with the mood of the pices and even add swing into them where the mood takes you or lift parts and even add a sombre feeling. I would like however to see an accomp. book for this, this would make this a really fun book to share with friends and fellow musicians.

In essence, this book is great fun and will be so for many many years to come. I would really recommend this book (and in doing so, have seen friends flocking to the internet for the purchase).
