Musical instruments need to be insured. Instrument theft is far too common.

We are able to offer free insurance valuations in most cases. Please note we do charge £5.00 for a valuation if the instrument(s) weren't purchased from us. 

Whilst some household policies may offer adequate cover do check the small print carefully. You'll only discover the cover wasn't suitable in the event you need to make a claim, by which time it's too late...

We strongly advise insuring your instrument with a specialist insurer of musical instruments.

Free Insurance Offer

Jonathan Myall Music will give you a voucher when you purchase an instrument.  This voucher entitles you to free insurance for your musical instrument for one month from the date of purchase as recorded on the receipt. Please retain the voucher along with your receipt as you will need both if you need to claim.  Your instrument will be covered for loss, accidental damage or theft at your home, school, practice sessions and most concerts and gigs in the UK using New Moon's Natural policy for instruments to a total value of £2,000.00, and a single instrument limit of £1,500.00. If your instrument is worth more than this we will give you a different type of voucher as you may need a Harmonic policy - on which New Moon will give you 12 months' cover for the price of 11.
