Grants & bursaries

Grants and bursaries are available for students who need financial assistance. Below are some of the organisations which hand out bursaries. Contact details (and, in some cases, application forms) are available on their websites.

BBC Performing Arts Fund

The Performing Arts Fund was set up after the success of BBC's Fame Academy programme. Each time you vote on a designated BBC One entertainment programme that seeks to find new performing talent (including Over the Rainbow) the BBC PAF receives 14p. The money raised on the programme is now used to fund young musicians, from a range of genres, to help them pursue their careers in music.
