About Aislinn Turley

Born and educated in Northern Ireland, Aislinn started playing flute at the age of eleven. In 2005 she graduated with honours from Trinity College of Music, where she studied with Wissam Boustany, Daniel Pailthorpe and Anne Cherry. With an interest in contemporary music and extended techniques she gained a masters at Goldsmiths University, researching the cross over of music genres and the enhancement of the flute and its impact on contemporary compositions. Studying under Rodger Redgate she collaborated with the composition department and also performed regularly with the electronic orchestra. She was also a recipient of the Ian Gow Memorial Award and an EMI Music Foundation. Aislinn is currently the Showroom Manager at Jonathan Myall Music and travels throughout the UK supporting flute events. She teaches privately in her free time.
