In his preface to this edition Charles DeLaney sets out his "DeLaney's Daily Dilemmas" (with apologies to Joachim). He thought that these studies were limited in range and he has therefore modified them, added titles and set out the main challenges of each study. He has also included 'DeLaneys' Daily Dozen - a Practicing Guide' at the end. The titles are fun. No 11 becomes 'Compound Fractures' and No 9 'Padoo Alley" - this should take your mind off the fact that you are trying to play most of each study up an octave!
